Womens’ Group

During the visit a meeting was held with the Women’s Club members at Kalalasaka. The club leadership is as follows:-

The club has 20 members and a committee of 7. The following activities are carried out:

• Sewing
• Goat Rearing (currently 8 goats in stock ) this was funded through the Anne Trench fund.

The women in the club were happy with what they were learning at the club. However, they would like to also learn knitting, crocheting and how to do simple machine repairs. The women also expressed their desire for literacy classes.
