The visit included a one day workshop on OVC prevention, Care and Support, children’s rights, child trafficking, child labour, early marriages and resource mobilisation. This is foremost to help turn the school into a child friendly school. Secondly it was awareness raising in children and the parents on the rights of the children, child labour, forms of child trafficking and the way forward and the consequences of early marriages. The meeting attracted 57 parents as well as many children.
