Report Introduction

The report covers and highlights the activities that took place at Kalalasaka Open Community School during the visit by Programme Officers Hilda Kateka and Charles Chama from 8th to 11th June, 2010

During the visit the following items were delivered:

1. HEPS
2. Mealie meal
3. Cooking oil
4. Sugar
5. Salt
6. Kapenta
7. Various school supplies

There was the purchasing and distribution of goats for more vulnerable households for the goat restocking project and a community sensitization meeting on child rights, child trafficking, child labour and early marriages.

The continued support that the community from Kalalasaka, the teachers and the pupils are receiving from the Jeney and John Preston has continued to motivate the staff at ZOCS to work harder towards the provision of quality services, which has undoubtedly reached the vulnerable children targeted by the Programme.
